All sales are made in good faith that the products are in good working order and are as required by the customer when the product is chosen. In cases of return or refund we outline the following policy and procedures:

Sales Refunds and Returns:

If the item purchased was incorrect or no longer required by the customer, it will be refunded using the same payment method used during the purchase on the condition that the item is unopened and unused, and the original receipt for the purchase is returned with the goods. Where the same payment method is not an option, a cheque will be written for the refund amount or a credit issued for future use. Where cash was used and the amount of cash for the refund exceeds cash on hand, a cheque or credit note will be issued. Goods may also be swapped for other goods of the same dollar value. Any freight charges paid or incurred as a result of returning items via a freight or postal service will not be refunded and will be the responsibility of the customer.

Where the item being returned has been used it will only be accepted back according to the warranty conditions of the item as stated by the supplier. The item must be within the warranty period for that supplier, must meet the conditions of warranty, and must be accompanied by the original receipt. Items that have been clearly abused or misused for their intended application will not be covered by warranty. All items returned under warranty will be approved by the supplier for credit, replacement or repair (as per their individual warranty policies) before any action will be taken by Fisher Discounts. Details including the receipt of purchase, name and contact details must be left of any warranty claims to be processed and all claims will be dealt with as soon as is physically possible.

Repairs:

For tools outside their supplier warranty period, any repairs carried out within our workshop are covered with a 3 month warranty. This is based on the tool being return with the same fault as originally repaired due to faulty parts or workmanship. New problems or faults caused by misuse or abuse of the tool will not be covered by the repair warranty, only the repair conducted and paid for will be covered under this policy.
